Scottish Motorcycle Show, Ingliston, 8 - 9 March

Scottish Motorcycle Show

This year we did not have a specific club stand but a number of members exhibited their bikes in the Classic Pavillion. Eddie Pennycook took the award for "Best in Show".

International Jampot Rally, Auxone, France

The band of 'Reivers' arrive at the campsite Eddie Pennycook's G80 - which misbehaved this time
The International this year was held at Auxone, Dijon and by all accounts was an excellent "do". It was well attended by the Scotish Section, despite the distance involved. Eddie Pennycook's G80 ran it's big end on the way home and had to be left to the care of the Carol Nash recovery. He was still waitng for it's return at the camping weekend that followed and had to use his G3 for that

Scottish Section camping weekend. Glen Coe, 27 - 29 June

What a view from the camp site! And the scenery is not bad either.

Saturday started pretty wet and the main party of about half a dozen bikes came back a bit moist from a run down Glen Etive. On the Sunday we decided on a pretty route home. We headed down the coast road and out to Port Appin, overlooking Lismore. A stop for lunch was made at Creagan just before Connell then on down the Pass of Brander, a short stop at Cruachan power station and then on to Tyndrum where we went our separate ways.

Jampot Rally, Gillingham, North Dorset, August

Again a long haul for the members of the section who went down.
