Annual Section Dinner, January

Club dinner Club dinner

For this year Alf arranged for us to meet him at his local, the Pitlessie Inn. And a very fine choice it was. Although shortly changing hands, the present owners have built up an excellent reputation for fine food in a pleasant atmosphere. I hope the new owners can maintain it. Turn out was excellent. About 2 dozen members and partners arrived from a' pairts o' the Kingdom

International Jampot Rally, May

Jampot Rally - Denmark

Peter showing off the newly approved Dutch helmet the horns are probably more effective than the Matchie's!

Geof & Steve Pennycook, Ivor Ward, Dave Raeburn, Eddie Pennycook & "Wild Bill" Keogh - he'll get me for that!

Saturday run - Langeland

Organised this year by the Danish Section, this was quite an adventure made all the more arduous because the ferries across the North Sea were not so numerous as in previous years. This made the journey all the longer for the members of the section who did attend. But, by all accounts it was well worth the effort.

Scottish camping Weekend

This year Alf Burgess arranged for the section to use the Lochearnhead Station.

For many years this has been cared for and maintained by a Scout troop from the South of England and a very fine  and comfortable facility it is. At the same time all the historic features of the beautiful old station are maintained - oh, OK apart from track and trains!

The weather was pretty mixed but the turnout was excellent, including a contingent from the Dutch Section although the Web Master was missing - due to daughter's 21st birthday celebrations.
